<p>200’ of roof rain drains were leaking into the mall, but they were suspended 40’ in the air running horizontally inside the roof.</p>
<p><strong>Re-Pipe?:</strong> Plumbers recommended renting a lift to raise their crew 40’ into the air while they cut out 3’ sections of heavy galvanized pipe at a time. It also required asbestos abatement, permitting, inspections and crowd control. Dangerous sales areas of the mall would be closed and lose money for 4 weeks. <span style="color: #800000;"><em><strong>Duration: 4 weeks. Plumber’s Cost $85,000</strong></em></span></p>
<p><strong>Re-Line!:</strong> We re-lined the pipes from outside on top of the roof.  No permits and inspections needed as re-lining is considered a repair not replacement. <em><strong><span style="color: #800000;">Took 3 days. Total cost $25,000.</span></strong></em> <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Beat that.</strong></span></p>
