Trenchless Pipe Lining is South Florida’s premier pipe lining company that performs pipe relining but also boasts multiple trenchless pipe restoration systems including CIPP (cured in place pipe), pipe bursting, slip lining and epoxy pipelining.

A Trenchless Solution For Every Pipe

We install cured in place (CIPP) pipe lining in high rise vertical sewer pipes and rain drains, underground cast iron and clay sewer pipes, cooling tower or chiller pipes. For aging culvert pipes or storm drains we install thermo-formed pipe lining and for fire suppression sprinkler pipes and potable water pipes we use epoxy pipe lining which seals all leaks and prevents future deterioration.

Trenchless Pipe Lining Avoids Excavation!

Every property owner or municipality is eventually confronted with the decision to replace or restore their plumbing systems. The real cost of pipe replacement includes not just materials and labor, but the price of pipeline downtime, bypass pumping, alternate lodgings for property inhabitants, cleanup after excavation and subjective matters like unsanitary conditions during sewer pipe excavation, relocation headaches, and time taken to complete pipe replacement.

Trenchless Pipelining Is Faster, Cleaner & Less Expensive

With trenchless pipe lining high rise tenants can stay inside their apartments, offices can continue operating, 24-hour manufacturing facilities can schedule brief downtimes, residents in homes do not need to move out, and there is no cleanup after the pipe relining. The pipe rehabilitation takes hours not weeks, and costs a fraction of the cost of pipe replacement.

Pipe Lining Materials Developed To Last Decades

Some of our pipe lining materials have an engineered life of 100 years! Depending on the type of pipe being restored, the pipe lining materials are approved by the EPA, The National Sanitary Foundation and a host of other regulatory bodies. These establishments require that the manufacturers have their pipe lining materials tested by an unbiased engineering firm to verify that quality standards are maintained. So our warranties are up to 50 years in length.

What Types Of Pipes Can Be Rehabilitated

Just about any type of pipes, including galvanized, cast iron, ductile, vitrified clay, and orangeburg pipes can be rehabilitated. In some instances cured-in-place pipe lining could be used, in other instances a sprayed-on epoxy coating is employed, in other cases pipe bursting or slip lining may be used.

Residential, Industrial & Commercial Pipe Rehabilitation

We employ cured-in-place pipe lining, epoxy pipe lining, pipe bursting and slip lining routinely to rehabilitate the potable and waste pipes of homes, production facilities and businesses. Our scheduling ensures the least amount of costly downtime and inconvenience to homeowners and business owners.

One Company – Various Pipe Lining Choices

Contrary To other trenchless pipe lining businesses, Trenchless Pipe Lining makes use of all types of pipe rehabilitation technologies, including cured-in-place pipe, slip lining, pipe bursting and epoxy pipe lining for large and small diameter pipes.

Almost all pipe lining companies specialize in only one type of pipe lining due to the expense of paying for the patented technology and maintaining an experienced crew for installation. But Trenchless Pipe Lining has invested considerable amounts of time and capital to be able to deliver drinking water pipe lining, storm drain pipe rehabilitation, water main pipe restoration and sewer pipelining. Although we operate out of, we do travel throughout Florida to rehabilitate pipes.

SEWER DRAIN PIPE LINING:

Are your sewer pipes backing up from root infestation, or from missing pipe floors or broken sewer pipes? Are your apartment roof rain leader drains leaking into walls of condominiums? Modern pipe lining installs a new pipe inside of the old pipe. It only takes 3 hours, has a 50 year warranty and is as strong as repiping with new pipe. The internal diameter is only reduced by 5%. We only need one entry point to install the new pipe liner, usually from a rooftop or a small access hole dug outside the building. Compared to old-fashioned excavation, this new inner pipe is cheaper, faster and cleaner. Click Pipe Lining to learn more.

EPOXY PIPE LINING:

Jackson has thousands of miles of deteriorating potable water pipe infrastructure which is especially prone to pinhole leaks in corroded or damaged pipes creating slab leaks. Leaking copper and galvanized pipes cause water damage and lead leaching into drinking water. Large and small diameter epoxy pipe rehabilitation coats the inside of any pipes with EPA approved food-grade epoxy which permanently seals all leaks. The epoxy coating is applied in varying thicknesses, depending on if it is used in oil refineries, hospitals, hotels, home, factories, aircraft carriers, water pipelines and apartment high-rises. Click Epoxy Pipe Lining to learn more.

In some circumstances, pipes cannot be lined so “pipe bursting” is used, which involves the physical destruction and outward displacement of the old pipe followed simultaneously by the installation of a new pipe with the same or wider diameter inside the newly created void. In other cases, a new pipe can simply be pulled into the old pipe (“slip lining”), thereby reducing the internal diameter somewhat. Click Pipe Bursting / Slip Lining to learn more.

Speed: cured in place pipe lining takes hours not weeks

Cost: since no walls, basements, floors, driveways and landscaping is destroyed, trenchless pipe repair is cheaper than digging and replacing pipe

Cleanliness: No pipe repair excavation mess inside apartments, factories, hospitals and commercial buildings

No downtime costs: restaurant pipe rehab and CIPP in other commercial facilities allows the continued operation and no economic loss

As sure as death itself, after about 30 years the old vertical sewer pipes in apartment high rise condominiums will rust and crack along the length of the pipe. The sewer water will leak into walls and cause some serious damage. Since all the building’s sewer stack have the same age and the same environmental conditions (water flow rates, materials, humidity), the remaining pipes soon leak after the first one. The easiest solution is apartment high rise condominium pipe lining.

Most apartment high rise condominiums start off by making individual plumbing repairs by moving cabinets, mirrors etc. and cutting open concrete and drywall surfaces, replacing the leaking section of pipe, then repairing the wall or entire sections of walls if they had water damage.

A cleaner, faster and less expensive way to replace these vertical leaking stacks is by “cured-in-place pipe” lining (CIPP).

How Is Vertical Pipe Lining Installed?

Clean the apartment high rise condominium vertical pipes - there are essentially two ways to do this. The first, by using a high pressure water jetter, is somewhat dangerous as the brittle leaking cast iron pipes may leak or break allowing the high pressure water jetter to cause serious damage or even injury to residents! The second and more safe way is to use an assortment of proprietary steel brushes that are passed through the pipe allowing the corrosion and scale to fall to the bottom of the apartment high rise condominium pipe where it is collected and removed.

Use a pipe video inspection camera to measure the length of pipe lining needed and where the pipe connections are - these measurements are used to cut the new inner lining material to precise length, and to cut access point in the material for where incoming pipe connections are. So the entire length of pipe is lined, exept for the small area where a pipe connection is. (there is a method used more rarely due to its cost and time consumption that lines the entire pipe, covering up incoming pipe connections, after which a robotic cutter is sent into the lined pipe to precisely cut open the pipe connections. see this video – click here

Once the fabric liner is cut to size, it is saturated with self-hardening resin. The pipe liner is then either pulled into the pipe or “shot” into the pipe with air and left to cure for 3-4 hours. It is only during this brief cure time that the apartment high rise condominium stack cannot be used by the residents in the apartments.

Once the liner is fully cured, the new apartment high rise condominium pipe is video inspected to make sure installation was perfect.

Vertical Roof Drain Pipe Lining

Top of Hotel Sewer Stack Pipe Lining

Of course apartment high rise condominium roof drains eventually corrode too and will leak into walls. These pipes are much easier to reline because there are few or no pipe connections to take into consideration. The installation process is the same as for vertical waste stacks.

Here Is A Great Story From The Maui News:

KAHULUI – In 2009, the backlog of repairs to the nation’s public wastewater systems was estimated by the American Society of Civil Engineers at $390 billion. But the private side of the systems – the lines from the public collection pipe back to the bathroom – is also deteriorating.

The bill could be equally daunting.

Steve Allen, owner of The Drain Surgeon in Kahului, said his employees see the problem “every day,” often disturbingly close to the ocean. Cast-iron pipes, above and below ground, corrode, sometimes in less than 20 years.

“The pipes are rotting right at the beachfront,” he said recently at the Kahului offices of his plumbing business.

Nobody routinely inspects for leaks, he said, adding that there is no legal requirement to do so. And, it’s unclear who (if anyone) is responsible for reporting them.

State Department of Health Deputy Director Gary Gill said “everybody” should report leaks, but there is no enumerated legal duty for professionals to do so, the way doctors and nurses are required to report suspected child or elder abuse.

Allen said he feels an obligation to help ensure the health and safety of the public.

But that doesn’t mean he reports his customers to the state health officials, although once he told one he would if the property owner didn’t fix a pipe that was leaking raw sewage into the ocean. The owner decided to pay to fix it.

Fines for violating the federal Clean Water Act by introducing sewage into navigable waters can run $25,000 a day.

Gill said fines are not common, but they have been imposed. (The Health Department is responsible for enforcing the federal regulations.)

Replacing decayed pipes for a single-family house, in an uncomplicated situation, costs $5,000 to $20,000, Allen said.

But the looming cost for thousands of home and business owners will be huge. At $10,000 a house, fixing a thousand homes will cost $10 million. In some areas, like Kailua on Oahu, Allen’s Plumbing is finding “house after house after house” with failed systems.

Gill said he thinks Allen has “uncovered a significant issue” concerning the probable extent of the problem of leaking private sewer lines.

Allen has made a poster that he takes to public meetings, which asks, “Who is responsible?”

“The property owner,” Gill said.

People don’t know their systems have failed, or, if they do, “until the toilet backs up, they don’t want to do anything about it,” Allen said.

Just because corrosion has eaten away a sewer pipe doesn’t mean there is a bad leak. Dave Taylor, now director of the county Department of Water Supply, worked for years as head of the county’s Wastewater Reclamation Division. He said that, in some soils, sewage encases the hole where the pipe was, solidifies, and the waste continues to flow where it was directed.

Not always, Allen said. At a West Maui restaurant, his crew found a “cavern” under what was left of the pipe, and raw sewage was going straight to groundwater, he recalled.

Allen has been astonished at how bad the situation is. “I cannot believe what we are seeing,” he said.

Apartment buildings within 100 or 200 yards of the ocean, with dozens to hundreds of units, have been found with the connection to the county wastewater system completely interrupted, he said.

The same situation can be found in private homes. Allen’s employee, Richard Hart, was cutting into a concrete pad at a house in Happy Valley to get to a line that remote inspection had shown was deteriorated. “I couldn’t understand why my saw blade was binding,” he said.

When he finished cutting out the 3-foot-square piece of concrete, he found out: It dropped down more than a foot into a hole where raw sewage had washed out the soil. “Right over a drinking water aquifer,” Allen said.

There’s no telling how long some of these situations have existed. At a 36-unit apartment in Kihei, Allen said he believes raw sewage was leaking into the soil “for nobody knows how many years.”

Public systems are regulated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the state Department of Health. There is no regular oversight of what happens on the private side of the pipes, at least not after the inspection required for a certificate of occupancy for new construction is completed.

Allen said he believes that failed systems should have their certificates of occupancy withdrawn, since they are no longer in compliance with the county plumbing code.

Gill said complaints about failures on the private side of county wastewater systems are referred to the plumbing inspectors of the county.

“If the property is not sewered, we would follow up on the complaint because in many cases the complainant is not sure what is causing the spill,” he said. “Since we would be conducting the investigation, we’d take the necessary enforcement action in those cases.”

Dean Higuchi, of the Honolulu office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, said the federal agency has no authority over private systems. It is concerned with public systems, and it forced Maui County to spend many millions upgrading its public system in the 1990s because of chronic spills.

Many were blamed on clogs of food, oil and grease from commercial kitchens, which formed plugs in collection lines.

A county ordinance requires commercial kitchens to install grease traps.

There was much grousing, Allen said, about the expense, but it turned out to be “a double win.”

Spills are much less frequent, and the saved grease is used by Pacific Biodiesel to make renewable fuel.

Allen said he told restaurateurs that they should consider food, oil and grease recovery as a cost of doing business. “You produce it, you are responsible for it,” he said.

He said building owners should realize that replacing plumbing is a routine cost of owning the building. And one that may come up well before the overall structure needs major repairs.

Allen suggests that a homeowner whose cast-iron pipes are 20 years old, as a person concerned about the environment, should consider an inspection. The cost is $300 to $500, using remote sensing technology.

People on cesspools are home free. Their sewage just goes into a hole in the ground, where, if all is well, natural reactions clean up the sewage before it gets very far.

(The Health Department is on a campaign to close all large-capacity cesspools – defined as any with more than one family using it – but six years past the deadline, the state is still encountering old cesspools.)

Technology is coming to the rescue of homeowners and commercial building owners, Allen said.

Plumbers have known how to reline big pipes without digging for about 20 years, and in the last eight years, the equipment has become able to cope with small-diameter pipes.

There are various methods. A sleeve of fabric can be rolled into the pipe, then impregnated with (a very expensive) resin that sets up a rigid barrier that resists hydrogen sulfide, which eats pipe. Another method is to force through a kind of metal projectile with a hydraulic ram. This breaks up the old pipe and pushes it aside, simultaneously pulling a new line into its place.

Allen said he believes that a leak test – air or water – should be required when a house is sold, but as far as he knows, San Francisco is the only city that requires this.

“If I were a homeowner, or if I were a Realtor, I’d want it done,” he said.

Allen’s Plumbing does only repair work, no new construction, and Allen said he cannot keep up with the decayed pipe work.

More than once, he has had an owner decline to fix pipes.

That could be expensive. Gill said fines can only be imposed if the department can show willful negligence.

An owner who corrects a plumbing failure once it is discovered would probably not be a tempting target for fines.

Enforcement actions “can be complicated,” Gill said. The department can issue notices of violation, which can lead to fines; but it also uses warning letters to obtain compliance.

Allen had to invest many tens of thousands of dollars in new equipment (two sets of everything for his businesses on Maui and Oahu), and the business is not without risk on his side. If a remote repair fails and he has to dig to fix it, that’s his cost.

It isn’t just pipes in the ground that fail. Allen has cases where high rises have decayed pipes all through the building.

It used to mean jackhammering concrete to get at them, but at least sometimes now the relining can avoid that.

A European study found that the lifetime of cast-iron sewage pipes, which had been believed to be 50 years, is often only half that. Plumbing codes have begun to allow plastic pipe, which should last longer than cast iron, but Allen said the baby and construction booms of the 1950s and ’60s have bequeathed the nation millions of buildings whose plumbing is in danger of failing.

Allen said he has seen a building only 16 years old with all its pipes rotted out.

Repeated calls to address blockages are a sure clue that pipe failure has occurred, he said.

He said much attention is being paid to county injection wells, where the effluent is treated to remove most of the waste. But, “I just get a little bit bothered about the lack of awareness of the untreated, raw sewage that’s going into the ocean. There’s no comparison,” he said.

Frequently Asked Questions for Sewer Pipe Lining And Potable Water Epoxy Pipe Restoration Company

Q: Can you reline pipes in my factory that are broken or have missing pieces? A: Yes – any pipe can be lined as long as a video camera or a cable can pass through it. The only exeption is if the pipe is largely collapsed whci occurs if you wait too long to do the drain pipelining . Q: Is it possible to do Water Main Pipe lining on vertical roof rain drains or sewer stacks in a factory ? A: Yes – about half of all pipes we line are in high rises that have leaking roof drains or leaking sewage pipes. Q: I only have 10′ of pipe to be lined. Will you come out and how much will it cost to use slip lining ? A: It is not worth the cost of mobilization for a pipe relining company to install a short section of drain pipelining . So they all have minimum charges to come to your factory somewhere in the order of $4,500.

Application of tough epoxy coatings to permanently protect manholes from chemical and physical deterioration

We permanently restore pipes throughout Cape Canaveral and would like to help you figure out whether you can use CIPP pipe lining:

There are many pipe restoration techniques available today like Sewage Pipe Lining Company & Fire Hydrant and Potable Pipe Relining . Do you need CIPP pipe lining ? If your hotel drains backing up from tree root growth or broken or missing clay or cast iron pipe then you need a physical new pipe installed by Cured-In-Place Pipe Lining or CIPP. CIPP is also used if your condominium vertical sewer drains or rain leaders are leaking into walls and floors causing severe property damage. CIPP is a permanent pipe replacement inside the old pipe that only reduces internal diameter by 5% and had a 50yr warranty. Installation only takes around four hours so there is very little time that the pipe cannot be used. Our access point to the old pipe for CIPP pipe lining is usually outside the house or building at a cleanout or from a rooftop where the stack emerges vertically.

But potable water and fire suppression pipes in hotel are usually restored using a permanent sprayed-on epoxy coating that is thinner than CIPP. Today however there are CIPP liners that are approved for drinking water and used when the structural integrity of the old pipe has been compromised. Recent surveys indicate that Cape Canaveral has hundreds of miles of copper and steel and galvanized pipes that are leaking causing slab leaks and property damage. Epoxy pipe rehabilitation coats the inside of potable water and fire suppression pipes with EPA approved food-grade epoxy which permanently seals all leaks.

There are some rare circumstances when CIPP pipe lining cannot be used in a hotel like if a video camera or cable cannot be strung through the pipe due to very large holes. There are two last resort options: Pipe bursting and slip lining, or possibly Sewage Pipe Lining Company & Fire Hydrant and Potable Pipe Relining . “Pipe bursting is a technique where a new pipe is dragged into the old pipe which destroys the old pipe and replaces it with a larger diameter pipe. The second option slip lining in a hotel sleeves the inside of the old pipe with a new pipe of smaller diameter.

Aging manholes deteriorate to the point where they allow water infiltration or sewer exfiltration in Cape Canaveral Sewage Pipe Lining Company & Fire Hydrant and Potable Pipe Relining . The City of Cape Canaveral has a mandate to restore or replace sewer manholes with the lower possible budget. We have a wide array of manhole rehab options including epoxy and concrete and polymeric processes.

So how is sewage pipe relining installed in a hospital- CIPP Pipe Lining Company & Trenchless Potable & Fire Supression Epoxy Pipe Relining ?

First of all the drain pipe is inspected with a sewer pipe video inspection camera. This usually has occurred once before when the plumbing company first diagnosed that you need sewage pipe relining. The pipes may have to be “jetted” first if the pipes have too much debris on the walls and floors for sewage pipe relining. To get an exact measurement of the sewage pipe relining distance a piece of duct tape is used to mark the video cable. That distance is transferred to the flexible fabric “liner” which will be used for sewage pipe relining. Then the “liner” is wet out with a precise amount of epoxy resin that hardens by itself and the liner is loaded into an “air gun” which shoots the liner into the pipe. That is followed by shooting a very long baloon inside of the liner that holds the liner against the wall of the pipe while the epoxy resin hardens in about 3 hours. The balloon is pulled out after the liner is cured and the new sewage pipe relining is video inspected. If there were pipes that joined the lined pipe their connections were covered up by the sewage pipe relining . In such cases a robotic “reinstatement cutter” is sent into the lined pipe to cut open those connections. See How CIPP Pipe Lining Company & Trenchless Potable & Fire Supression Epoxy Pipe Relining works!

We are a trenchless pipe lining company operating throughout Las Vegas and would like to help you decide what type of pipe lining you need:

There are many pipe restoration techniques available today like Trenchless Pipe Lining Company & Sewer & Potable Pipe Relining. Do you need trenchless pipe lining ? If your high rise sewer pipes backing up from root infestation or from missing pipe floors or broken sewer pipes then you need Cured-In-Place-Pipe lining or CIPP. CIPP is also used if your condominium vertical sewer drains or rain leaders are leaking into walls and floors causing severe property damage. CIPP is a permanent pipe replacement inside the old pipe that only reduces internal diameter by 5% and had a 50yr warranty. Pipe downtime is only 3 hours whilst the new liner cures under air pressure and is ultimately as strong as repiping with new pipe. We only need one entry point for trenchless pipe lining to install the new pipe liner usually from a rooftop or a small access hole dug outside the building. ?

But potable water and fire suppression pipes in high rise are usually restored using a permanent sprayed-on epoxy coating that is thinner than CIPP. Many CIPP liners nowadays have been approved by the National Sanitary Foundation (NSF) for potable water and are used when the host pipe has been weakened by corrosion. Throughout Las Vegas pinhole leaks in copper pipes create slab leaks and leaking galvanized pipes cause water damage and toxic lead leaching into drinking water. Epoxy pipe rehabilitation coats the inside of potable water and fire suppression pipes with EPA approved food-grade epoxy which permanently seals all leaks.

There are some rare circumstances when trenchless pipe lining cannot be used in a high rise like if a video camera or cable cannot be strung through the pipe due to very large holes. In such cases there are two last resort alternatives to trenchless pipe lining : Pipe bursting and slip lining or even Trenchless Pipe Lining Company & Sewer & Potable Pipe Relining. “Pipe bursting is a technique where a new pipe is dragged into the old pipe which destroys the old pipe and replaces it with a larger diameter pipe. The second option slip lining in a high rise sleeves the inside of the old pipe with a new pipe of smaller diameter.

Eventually all sewage manholes experience leakage in or out of their structure so replacement is needed. The City of Las Vegas has a mandate to restore or replace sewer manholes with the lower possible budget. We have a wide array of manhole rehab options including epoxy and concrete and polymeric processes.

Application of tough epoxy coatings to permanently protect manholes from chemical and physical deterioration

We permanently restore pipes throughout Lynn Haven and would like to help you figure out whether you can use sewage cured in place pipe relining:

There are several tried and tested methods available to restore deteriorated pipes like Trenchless Pipe Lining Company & Sewer & Potable Pipe Relining . But can you use sewage cured in place pipe relining or must you dig up the pipe? If your house drains backing up from tree root growth or broken or missing clay or cast iron pipe then you need a physical new pipe installed by Cured-In-Place Pipe Lining or CIPP. CIPP is also used if your apartment vertical rain-drains or sewage drains are leaking into walls of condominiums in Lynn Haven . CIPP is a permanent pipe replacement inside the old pipe that only reduces internal diameter by 5% and had a 50yr warranty. Installation only takes around four hours so there is very little time that the pipe cannot be used. We only need one entry point for sewage cured in place pipe relining to install the new pipe liner usually from a rooftop or a small access hole dug outside the building. ?

But drinking water lines and fire hydrant pipes in are usually relined using an epoxy coating process resulting in a thinner structure that with CIPP. Today however there are CIPP liners that are approved for drinking water and used when the structural integrity of the old pipe has been compromised. Recent surveys indicate that Lynn Haven has hundreds of miles of copper and steel and galvanized pipes that are leaking causing slab leaks and property damage. Epoxy pipe rehabilitation coats the inside of potable water and fire suppression pipes with EPA approved food-grade epoxy which permanently seals all leaks.

There are some rare circumstances when sewage cured in place pipe relining cannot be used in a house like if a video camera or cable cannot be strung through the pipe due to very large holes. There are two last resort options: Pipe bursting and slip lining, or possibly Trenchless Pipe Lining Company & Sewer & Potable Pipe Relining . Pipe bursting involves the physical destruction and simultaneous outward displacement of the old pipe as a new pipe with a larger diameter is dragged into position. The second option slip lining in a house sleeves the inside of the old pipe with a new pipe of smaller diameter.

Aging manholes deteriorate to the point where they allow water infiltration or sewer exfiltration in Lynn Haven Trenchless Pipe Lining Company & Sewer & Potable Pipe Relining . The City of Lynn Haven has a mandate to restore or replace sewer manholes with the lower possible budget. We offer physical manhole rehabilitation with fiberglass and concrete and epoxy linings.
