SEWER DRAIN PIPE LINING:
Are your sewer pipes backing up from root infestation, or from missing pipe floors or broken sewer pipes? Are your apartment roof rain leader drains leaking into walls of condominiums? Modern pipe lining installs a new pipe inside of the old pipe. It only takes 3 hours, has a 50 year warranty and is as strong as repiping with new pipe. The internal diameter is only reduced by 5%. We only need one entry point to install the new pipe liner, usually from a rooftop or a small access hole dug outside the building. Compared to old-fashioned excavation, this new inner pipe is cheaper, faster and cleaner. Click Pipe Lining to learn more.
EPOXY PIPE LINING:
Jackson has thousands of miles of deteriorating potable water pipe infrastructure which is especially prone to pinhole leaks in corroded or damaged pipes creating slab leaks. Leaking copper and galvanized pipes cause water damage and lead leaching into drinking water. Large and small diameter epoxy pipe rehabilitation coats the inside of any pipes with EPA approved food-grade epoxy which permanently seals all leaks. The epoxy coating is applied in varying thicknesses, depending on if it is used in oil refineries, hospitals, hotels, home, factories, aircraft carriers, water pipelines and apartment high-rises. Click Epoxy Pipe Lining to learn more.
PIPE BURSTING & SLIP LINING:
In some circumstances, pipes cannot be lined so “pipe bursting” is used, which involves the physical destruction and outward displacement of the old pipe followed simultaneously by the installation of a new pipe with the same or wider diameter inside the newly created void. In other cases, a new pipe can simply be pulled into the old pipe (“slip lining”), thereby reducing the internal diameter somewhat. Click Pipe Bursting / Slip Lining to learn more.

Welcome
Our Detroit pipe lining service is the only trenchless company that offers a complete array of rehabilitation techniques for residential, commercial, city and industrial applications. Hotels for example will use Cured-In-Place pipe (CIPP) to rehabilitate their vertical leaking rain drain stacks and leaking sewage pipes, and high-rise apartments would use our epoxy pipe lining process to stop pinhole leaks and slab leaks in their copper water pipes. Cities use our sectional repairs to stop root infiltration at separated clay pipe joints and they use our manhole rehabilitation processes to stop water infiltration and water exfiltration.
Our modern pipe lining techniques allow the trenchless pipe rehabilitation of broken pipes or cracked pipes without excavating floors, walls, driveways, foundations, basements and concrete slabs. This no-dig method of pipe repair is cleaner, cheaper and faster than traditional repiping of damaged plumbing in Detroit.
The pipe liners have a 100-year life expectancy and come with a 50-year warranty. The pipe liners are installed from one access point, like a rooftop or from an outside cleanout so that there is no invasion of living space or workspace. Although underground pipe lining has been around for over 35 years, small diameter CIPP pipe lining was pioneered by Perma-Liner manufacturing. We are an experienced certified Perma-Liner installer and contractor with extensive experience in high-rise apartment CIPP trenchless pipe replacement, sewer main line lining, industrial pipelining, manhole liners and manhole epoxy lining and residential sewer lateral lining in Detroit.
The Trenchless CIPP Pipe Installation Process
- The pipe lining contractor uses a water jetter or mechanical pipe cleaning brushes, remove all scale and corrosion deposits causing drain pipe backups
- Then the pipe lining company uses a video camera to inspect the sewer plumbing pipes and gets a distance measurement for the trenchless pipelining
- The pipe liner is cut to length and 100% epoxy resin is mixed and used to saturate the pipe sleeve thoroughly
- The new liner is installed and allowed to harden under air pressure against the walls of the broken leaking pipe
- After 3 hours the new pipe liner has formed a new pipe inside the old pipe and the process is complete
Recent Project in Detroit MI:
Commercial Pipe Lining at Strip Mall on Mack Ave.
- Symptoms – Sewer pipes blocked and backing up into stores
- Diagnosis – Video inspection showed rusted cast iron sewer line under parking lot
- Where – Mack Ave., Wayne county
We received a call from a commercial property investor that she was experiencing severe sewage backups at her commercial strip mall. There were reports of wet floors in the individual stores damaging inventory. The property manager thought that pipe excavation and pipe replacement was the only option. That would destroy the parking lot, displace customers and cause severe economic losses, and perhaps tenants might even cancel their upcoming lease renewals.
Using our trenchless CIPP pipe lining method, we excavated one access hole in the grass on the side of the parking lot, from where we cleaned the broken pipe and installed the new pipe liner. The Permaliner technology used only required a 3 hour cure time, after which the new sewer pipe was put back into service. The project took only 7 hours in total, and the new pipeline came with a 50-year warranty.
Recent Project:
Residential/Home Underground Pipe Lining
- Symptoms – drain pipes backing up into bathroom, flooding with sewage
- Diagnosis – video inspection showed root growth outside house inside sewer lateral
- Where – 13565 Irvine Blvd., Oak Park, Michigan (near Detroit MI)
Our dispatch got a distressed call from a homeowner preparing for a birthday party. Their bathrooms were experiencing sewer clogs in drains and backing up. We inspected their sewer lines, and found major pipe damage under their house including rust, corrosion deposits, pipe cracks and missing pipe floors. The main pipe problem seemed to be coming from root growth into the sewer pipe going from the house to the property easement near the street (the city of Oak Park is responsible for the section of pipe going from the easement to the sewer main pipe under the road).
The customer had to get new pipes fast, inside and outside their home, all before the birthday party. Their only option was trenchless pipeline rehabilitation and they were happy to hear it was going to cost less than digging and replacing pipe.
We dug an access hole outside their house at the cleanout, from which we cleaned and relined their sewer pipes, all in one day. After final video inspection and plumbing testing we closed the access hole and replaced the grass.
Advantages of CIPP (Cured-In-Place-Place) Trenchless Pipe Rehabilitation
- Speed: cured in place pipe lining takes hours not weeks
- Cost: since no walls, basements, floors, driveways and landscaping is destroyed, trenchless pipe repair is cheaper than digging and replacing pipe
- Cleanliness: No pipe repair excavation mess inside apartments, factories, hospitals and commercial buildings
- No downtime costs: restaurant pipe rehab and CIPP in other commercial facilities allows the continued operation and no economic loss

We are a certified Perma-Liner pipe rehabilitation installer operating throughout California. Our cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) enables us to repair all pipes, such as VCP clay, cast iron, steel, corrugated and copper pipes without trenching or digging through floors, walls, basements, concrete slabs or foundation and landscaping.
Recent Project in San Diego CA:
Hotel Pipe Relining on E Harbor Dr., San Diego, CA
We got a call late at night from a distressed hotel along the waterfront. They had a broken cast iron sewer pipe that ran vertically from the top to the bottom floor and was leaking sewage into the walls and causing mould and other sanitary problems. They were also concerned about liability and law suits. Their research indicated CIPP pipe lining was the cleanest and fastest type of pipe replacement that would allow the convention that they were hosting to continue.
Our video inspection showed a pipe blockage on the bottom floor due to broken cast iron pipe edges (the pipe was 48 years old and very rusted). Regular pipe cleaning with a water jetter was not an option as it could destroy the pipe even more preventing pipe relining. So we used mechanical brushing equipment used in boiler heat exchanger cleaning, which removes corrosion deposits in a dry manner.
Then we moved our Perma-Liner CIPP equipment onto the rooftop, and installed the new pipe liner through the stack that emerged from the roof. There were 2 x 90-degree bends in the lined pipe, but our proprietary multi-sectional air inversion technique allowed for the simultaneous installation of seven sections of pipe liner from only one access point. To date, no other company has been able to replicate this installation without doing a pull-in-place pipe liner.
Advantages of CIPP (Cured-In-Place-Place) Trenchless Pipe Rehabilitation:
- Speed: cured in place pipe lining takes hours not weeks

- Cleanliness: No pipe repair excavation mess inside apartments, factories, hospitals and commercial buildings
- No downtime costs: restaurant pipe rehab and CIPP in other commercial facilities allows the continued operation and no economic loss
Trenchless Pipe Lining Process (CIPP):
- Perform pipe video investigation to determine the source of pipe problems
- Using a jetter, use high pressure water to clean drain lines
- Measure the length of pipe that needs pipe re-lining
- Cut pipe liners to correct length, and mix appropriate amount of epoxy resin
- Saturate pipe liner with resin
- Use air pressure to install pipe liners in broken pipes, allow 3 hours to cure/harden.

We deliver CIPP trenchless pipe installations to commercial, municipal and residential properties throughout Texas. We are a qualified Perma-Liner installer operating primarily Dallas and rehabilitate sewer laterals, city sewer main lines, apartment vertical waste stacks and rainleaders.
Cured In Place Pipe is the modern way of pipe replacement that avoids excavations of structures like roads, driveways, parking lots and restaurants and provides great savings in downtime and structure repairs. Pipe replacement by digging can take weeks to complete and is very messy. The Perma-Liner CIPP system only takes 3 hours for the pipe liner to cure and for the rehabilitated pipe to be put back into use.
Recent Project in Dallas: Residential Pipe Relining on Lakeland Dr
We got a call late at night from a distressed residential customer. Their toilets were clogging, and their sink and shower was draining slow. Trenchless pipe replacement was needed as they were having a function in their home soon and could not have any excavation to replace broken pipes.
Our video investigation of their plumbing showed serious pipe damage, the sewer line pipe was cracked and clogged, causing a blocked sewer line.
The following morning we cleaned the corroded and broken sewer drain line, then we measured the length of pipe liner needed, saturated it with self-hardening resin, and used air pressure to install the liner from the cleanout outside the house. After 3 hours the pipe liner was fully cured and the sewer pipe rehabilitation was complete. Since we specialize in residential pipe lining, we didn’t have to tear up floors, walls and kitchen cabinets.

We are one of the largest resources for trenchless pipe repair, repiping and relining services in Pennsylvania. Most people have never had to deal with Pipelining because blocked drain problems only occur once in their lifetime. But cities and corporations have been Pipelining for over 40 years, and the same technology was introduced to small diameter pipe for home owners, condo owners, apartment buildings, shopping centers, small businesses and anyone else with pipe problems around 12 years ago.
All of our materials have a 50 year warranty and meet ASTM 1216 specifications for air-inversion lining and ASTM specifications of pull-in-place lining. Repiping, relining and CIPP works on copper, concrete, clay, cast iron, steel and other common plumbing pipes. The most common pipes that need to be replaced are sewer lines and water lines, but all plumbing pipe can be replaced without digging.
Recent Philadelphia PA Job: High Rise Trenchless Sewer Pipe Re-Lining on Market St.
Symptoms: Sewer drain backups, toilets flooding into offices
Problem: Rusted cast iron sewer pipes with missing pipe floor: No-Dig Pipe Rehab Needed.
Location: Market St., Philadelphia PA
Like many businesses, a multi-story office tower needed to have their broken cast iron sewer pipes replaced due to missing pipe floors. The repeated drain backups were causing property damage and lost productivity as carpets and wooden flooring had to be replaced. Trenchless pipe lining was the fastest pipe replacement option for the pipe under the building and the sewer lateral going to the city sewer main line in the road.
Traditional digging and replacement of pipes would have meant that tenants would not have bathroom facilities for a couple of weeks. That would prove too inconvenient and could breach lease agreements. So the landlord opted to have their waste pipes lined instead. The pipe lining has a 50-year labor and materials warranty, and engineering tests estimated the actual life of the new pipe inside the old pipe would be closer to 100 years.
So Craftsman Pipe Lining located and accessed the sewer trunk line outside the building from where they were going to reline 80’ upstream under the building, and then 140’ downstream to where the property border was (the city is responsible for the remaining pipe rehabilitation from the property easement to the sewer main under the road). This type of cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation work was scheduled to occur at night so there would be no sewer service downtime.
On the first night, the first section of pipe was re-lined, and a robotic cutter was sent into the pipe to cut open the connections where other pipes used to have connections. During the daytime the pipe was completely operational for use by the bathrooms in the office complex. The second night the next section of pipe was lined, and the service connections of adjoining pipes also cut open. So in two nights there was complete sewage pipe replacement that would have taken weeks to complete by excavation.
Recent Project: Sewer Main Line Pipe Rehabilitation (CIPP), Philadelphia PA
Type: 6”-10” VCP clay pipe sewer main lines under roads
Problem: cracks in clay pipe causing sinkholes from pipe collapses and root intrusion at pipe joints causing backups
Location: Mobile Home Community, 1000 Park Avenue, Philadelphia PA
We received an urgent call from a property manager at a large mobile home community in Philadelphia. A sinkhole in the road was caused by broken clay sewage pipe that needs replacement. The community consists of 800 properties served by sewer main lines that have deteriorated over the last 40 years showing extensive root intrusion, water infiltration, cracked pipes and offset joints. They were experiencing severe main sewer line back ups and flooding inside homeowners’ properties. The city was not responsible for pipe repairs as the community owned the entire property.
The pipe under the sinkhole was cleaned from within and a “point repair” or “sectional repair” pipe lining was installed where the missing pipe was. The new pipe was as hard as PVC and served as a stand-alone new pipe.
Further video inspection by Craftsman Pipe of the property of 22,000 feet of clay pipe showed 96 other problematic sewage pipe areas.
Initial estimates from plumbing companies to repipe all these drain pipes were in the $2 – $3 million range, but Craftsman recommendedmaking sectional/point repairs only in the areas that were having problems (saving at least $2 million dollars). Work was scheduled over 5 years to ease the assessments on the tenants, and since the sectional pipe lining technology from Perma-Liner allows flow to continue during the pipe relining, no bypass pumping was required.

We are one of the largest resources for trenchless pipe repair, repiping and relining services in Arizona.
Stop Digging For Pipe Replacement
Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) or Trenchless Pipe Replacement has been around for 30 years and has been used for large diameter pipe rehabilitation by municipalities and commercial entities worldwide. But about 12 years ago small diameter pipe lining was perfected and has been in use in homes, hotels, apartments, ships, hospitals, and basically anywhere that needed repiping. Our Perma-Liner brand of trenchless technology has a 50 year warranty and only takes hours to install, and costs less than pipe replacement.Recent Job In Phoenix:
High Rise Vertical Sewer Stack Rehabilitation On W. Van Buren St.
Symptoms: Sewer leaks in apartment walls and foul odors.
Problem: Rusted cast iron sewer pipes leaking: No-Dig Pipe Repair Needed.
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Recently we received a frantic call from a property manager of a 7-story high building with 28 corroded cast iron waste stacks, and corroded vents and connected cross-over piping. The resulting leaks in the residents’ condos were creating extensive damage to walls and floors in addition to hygiene concerns relating to sewer microorganisms and mould in walls.
The excavation and replacement of the piping would have been too time-consuming, messy and expensive. The elderly residents would have to vacated for 3 weeks while broken leaking pipes were excavated and replaced. Then came the wall and floor restoration work and cleanup.
After much research into the problem the association hired Craftsman Pipe Lining to reline the pipes using the Perma-Liner air inversion process. This repair was the least invasive and most cost-effective repipe method. It only requires one access point for the pipe lining process. The new “liner” was installed from the rooftop where these pipes emerge, and using air pressure the new pipe liner was shot down to the bottom floor. Within 3 hours the liner had hardened becoming the new pipe. So all the sewer pipe repairs or replacement was done from the roof where no residents were inconvenienced.

Re-Pipe Without Digging – Relining Houston Building, Home Service Laterals, Oil Pipelines
The most common pipe problems in Texas are root infested and leaking seams in cracked clay pipe or rusted cast iron pipe, which typically has a missing pipe floor. Our Perma-Liner system can reline these pipes in a few hours. We can handle laterals anywhere from 2 to 8 inches and using the Permaliner inversion method can install liners in 22′s, 45′s and sweeping 90′s.
Recent Project: Houston, TX Luxury Apartment Complex
Type: 4” and 6” sewer trunk lines and laterals
Problem: missing cast iron pipe floor causing backups under the floor and root intrusion in laterals
Location: Houston, TX
At the luxury Woodhaven condominium complex in Houston, TX, residents were experiencing regular backups and sewage problems. Video inspection showed that the 40-year old cast iron pipe had rusted to such an extent that the pipe floor was missing and open cracks were letting roots and soil block flow in the pipes.
Plumbers were suggesting excavating all the concrete floors and walls in 10 buildings in order to replace the plumbing, meaning the residents would have to vacate their premises for at least 3 weeks and the project would take around 5 months to complete at a cost of around $200,000.
By using the Perma-Liner air inversion cured-in-place pipe rehabilitation, we installed new pipes within the old pipes at a rate of 1 building per day. The total project lasted 2 weeks and was completed under budget at a cost of $98,000 to the association.

Welcome
Our Chicago Illinois trenchless pipe lining company is the only pipe replacement contractor in Illinois that offers a complete array of pipe rehabilitation techniques for residential, commercial, city and industrial applications. Hospitals for example will use Cured-In-Place pipe (CIPP) to rehabilitate their vertical leaking rain drain stacks and leaking sewage pipes, and high-rise apartments would use our epoxy pipe lining process to stop pinhole leaks and slab leaks in their copper water pipes. Cities use our sectional repairs to stop root infiltration at separated clay pipe joints and to stop water infiltration and water exfiltration.
The Pipe Lining Process
- The pipe lining contractor uses a water jetter or mechanical pipe cleaning brushes, remove all scale and corrosion deposits causing drain pipe backups in your broken underground sewer pipes
- Then the pipe lining company uses a video camera to inspect the sewer plumbing pipes and gets a distance measurement for the trenchless underground pipelining
- The pipe liner is cut to length and 100% epoxy resin is mixed and used to saturate the pipe sleeve thoroughly
- The new liner is installed and the epoxy resin saturated pipe liner is allowed to harden under air pressure against the walls of the broken leaking pipe that needs replacement
- After 3 hours the new pipe liner has formed a new inner pipe inside the old pipe and the trenchless pipe process is complete
Featured Project: Chicago Office Tower Pipe Rehabilitation
Type: 4” and 6” roof drains
Problem: Leaking joints in slab
Location: Oak Park, Chicago, Illinois
We received an emergency call from the manager of a bank clearing operation in a large office complex. They informed us that they had leaking roof drains when it rained and needed a pipe repaired or replaced quickly. We arrived on location and performed a full video inspection. We found corroded cast iron pipe with large holes and missing portions of pipe were the seams use to connect together. We used video cameras to measure the 120’ length of pipe lining required per drain stack. Then the flexible fabric liner was cut to size, saturated with 100% epoxy, and installed from the rooftop without disrupting the employees work schedule. After 3 hours was allowed for the epoxy to cure, we took another video inspection of the internal pipeline and the pipe looked better than new and had no leaking joints. The entire pipe repair (pipe replacement alternative) was installed in 3 days, whereas pipe replacement by excavation of walls and floors was estimated to have taken 2 months.

Imported European trenchless pipe lining supplies at affordable prices
Trenchless Pipe Lining is the world’s largest supplier of pipe lining materials for cured in place technology such as liners and resins. We have a convenient online pipe liner store that provides a wide array of imported European pipe relining materials. Unlike other manufacturers, our pipe lining supplies are not made in labor camps in China and are not copycat pipe relining supplies.

- Crazy assortment of European pipe lining supplies available in the US
Our pipe lining supplies are specifically designed to solve the problems you are experiencing now:
- an elasticated woven pipe liner that may be used for lining drain pipes with 4 – 6 inch transitions- it gives an exact fit in the 4 inch drain and expands out to fit the 6 inch section of pipe, without having to custom order expensive pipe lining sections
- no stretch flexible liners that can navigate multiple 90′s and 45′s, but without stretching into a sewer main for example
- resins and additives that can accelerate cure times to less than 1 hour without the use of hot water or steam
- 5mm-6mm sewer pipe liners for extra strength other pipe lining manufacturers can’t offer
- a semi elastic liner significantly undersized to give a good finish in cast iron pipes that have a layer of scale or encrustation reducing the effective pipe diameter
- rain drain down pipe gutter liner, a thin walled elastic liner designed for vertical down pipes and gutters
- pipe liners designed to stretch radially by up to 50% so that 90′s have no wrinkles

- Custom resins not available elsewhere in the US
Our pipe lining resins take out the risk of too fast or too slow cure times:
- we have a “long working time” “fast underground cure” resin: Call it “big pipe resin” or “summer resin”. This CIPP resin product gives an unbelievable working time of up to 4 hours yets cures quickly below ground with or without assistance of heat. Ideal for long shots or work in summer
- get this, we also have a “slow-fast” resin, that gives you 30 minutes working time above ground, but cures in 15 miutes underground. Imagine how this will ramp up your productivity..
- low heat triggered resin – near instant cure resin but yet unbelievably gives give working time of up to 4 hrs !!!” How ?. The resin is very stable at temperatures under 20 deg C (68 deg F). Once temperature rise above 35 deg C (90 deg F)…Bang you get a near instant reaction. No need for recirculating water and all that aggravation.
- super fast cure resin – a solvent free resin supplied for use on CIPP Relining of drain and sewer pipes. The resins gives and ample working time of up to 45 minutes, depending on temparature, yet cures rapidly within 2 -3 hours later at ambient. For faster curing times, non-recirculated warm water at 110 deg will speed up cure to within 1 -2 hours after mixing

Featured Project: Epoxy Pipe Lining of Potable Water Lines In Residential Property
Location: E Capitol Dr., Milwaukee, Wisconsin W.I
Problem: Pinhole leaks in copper water supply lines in house foundation
Diagnosis: Copper drinking supply lines corroded and leaking from corrosion caused by chlorine and oxygen in water
In January 2008 Craftsman Pipe Lining was contacted by a distraught homeowner who had just remodeled their entire home with matching expensive wooden flooring. A slab leak was damaging the wood and the customer needed a long term pipe restoration solution that would not displace his entire family again for weeks. Our epoxy pipe coating team was dispatched to the home where they isolated sections of the potable water supply lines and epoxy coated them. The process consisted of sand blasting the interior of the corroded pipes, then air drying them and applying a self hardening mixture of 100% food grade EPA approved epoxy using high speed forced air from large compressors.
The process required that some of the valves and connections had to be replaced, but that was the invasiveness of the system and did not affect the flooring at all. The entire process took 5 days and did not displace the family (excavation would have taken 2-3 weeks and would have required the family to relocate during the pipe replacement process.)
Recent Project in Wisconsin: Pipe Lining of 3” Elevator Shaft Collection Pit Pipe At Airport
Location: General Mitchell International Airport • 5300 South Howell Ave. • Milwaukee, WI 53207.
Problem: Offsett joints in drainage pipe causing infiltration of water into elevator shaft collection pit
Diagnosis: Poorly fused joints in HDPE pipe was allowing water to seep into the pipe
Craftsman was contacted by the maintenance department of the General Mitchell airport about a serious problem. The pipe that drains hydraulic fluids, oils and other liquids from the bottom of an elevator shaft into a collection pit was experiencing water infiltration during rain showers. The sump pump in the pit was not able to keep up with the rate of infiltration causing the pit to overflow and filling the elevator shaft with water, which was an electrical hazard. Excavating the pipe for replacement was out of the question as it was located 16’ beneath the floor of a busy walkway to a terminal.
Instead Craftsman Pipe Lining video inspected the pipeline and measured the length of the pipe liner to be installed. The appropriate amount of expoxy resin was then mixed and used to completely saturate the liner, which was then rolled into a pressurized tank called an “inverter” which uses air pressure to “shoot the length of pipe liner down the broken leaking pipe that needs repair. After 6 hours of cure time, the pipe lining process was complete and the new pipe had an engineered life of 100 years. Normal cure times for these pipe linings are around 3 hours, but since the pipe was filled with water that cooled the hardening resin, additional cure time was allowed for safety.

To their dismay they discovered that a 6” cast iron return line had corroded and had been washing away the soil that supports the deep-end wall. Without the support, the water weight inside the pool would surely crack the wall, and to repair such a crack would was estimated to cost $150,000 as the pool would also have to be resurfaced and have all tile replaced. Estimated job duration: 4 weeks.
The pipe lining solution: at the pool house we opened the return line and installed a 60’ pipe liner. The pipeliner had to go around two 90-degree bends, and the pipe relining had to account for the fact that the diameter changed from 4” to 6” about 30’ into the pipe. So a custom pipe liner was manufactured that changed size from 4” to 6” exactly where the host pipe did. After a 3 hour cure time, the liner was inspected and found to be perfect. The only remaining item was a 4” pipe connection (wye) that was covered up by the pipe liner. The connection was cut open from within the connecting pipe by a special tool installed at the end of a cable machine. Total pipe lining cost: $22,000. Job duration: 2 days.
No More Digging – Cleveland Relining of Building and Home Service Laterals
No digging is required when you use our trenchless pipe rehab services. In the past the only way to repair or replace a pipe under your home or business was to dig a trench over the damaged section of pipe. This is no longer required. Our pipelining service allows us to install a new pipe inside the old damaged, cracked, broken or root infested pipe. No matter how bad your old pipe is, we can clean out the debris and install the new pipe sleeve inside and make the pipe new again.
The most common pipe problems in OH are root infested and leaking seams in cracked clay pipe or rusted cast iron pipe, which typically has a missing pipe floor. Our Perma-Liner system can reline these pipes in a few hours. We can handle laterals anywhere from 2 to 8 inches and using the Permaliner inversion method can install liners in 22′s, 45′s and sweeping 90′s.

Recent Job In Cleveland: Sewer Stack Pipe Lining In High Rise Building
Symptoms: Toilets clogging in units, sink and shower drain slow.
Diagnosis: Corroded cast iron pipes – 40 years old. Trenchless pipe restoration required
Location: Cedar Glen Parkway, Cleveland, Ohio
An 80’ high office building was experiencing regular toilet clogs as well as sewer leakage inside the walls of the building. The sewer pipes were video inspected and found to be cracked along their entire length. They need to be replaced, but since the office building was occupied with high-dollar rent tenants, excavation of walls and floors was not a viable option.
The pipe re-lining solution: From the rooftop we lined one sewer stack at a time, leaving the other stacks available for use. Once the vertical waste pipe was lined, a robotic cutter was installed into the lined pipe from where pipe connections that were covered up by the pipelining were re-opened. Each pipe had a two-day downtime and cost around $13,000 to re-line, as opposed to an estimated two weeks for excavation and replacement at a cost of approximately $25,000 (including retiling bathroom walls on each floor).
