22,000’ of clay sewer main lines were broken in 97 different places. Digging 9’-12’ under homes with high water table meant retaining walls and wellpoints had to be installed for each repair, in addition to bypass pumping.
Plumbers quoted $2,500,000 and estimated 6-12 months.
We installed “point repairs” which are 10’ short stretches of pipe lining. The “bladder” holding the liner against the pipe wall has a “flow through” pipe in the middle so that no bypass pumping is required. 2 months $350,000
